I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#150143). I help individuals and families manage life challenges. My support focuses on positive coping skills, self-efficacy, social support, and resiliency. Building these skills improves the ability to regulate relationships, nurture self-esteem, and develop identity.
Everyone’s situation is unique, and I am devoted to meeting you where you are on your journey toward steadiness and healthy relationships. This approach helps me appreciate and support the specific challenges families face as they work toward healthier lives, especially those from diverse backgrounds.
I have worked in group, outpatient, school-based, treatment, and private practice settings. I provide a warm, caring environment using a humanistic, strengths-based approach. My therapy is based on human behavior and family systems to address trauma, culture, cycles of violence, substance use, co-occurring disorders, and addiction in families.
I emphasize building a trusting therapeutic relationship with each client, fostering a safe space for self-reflection and growth through a non-judgmental approach. I value clients as experts in their own experiences and work in partnership with individuals and families to create meaningful, personal treatment plans, believing these joint efforts are key to effective therapy.
